What is academic, career, and leadership coaching?

For some people, the term coaching, may give them a picture of someone who provides instructions, techniques and game strategies in a sport such as, football, soccer, or swimming. With that picture in mind, they would have a correct understanding of what coaching is and can provide. However, coaching can also serve outside of the sports arena, as it also can offer support for individuals seeking help with achieving their pursuits either in academia, career, or in leadership. The process of academic, career, and leadership coaching leads a person in identifying obstacles or challenges, discovering insight and problem-solving skills, and choosing a course of action to reach their goals of influence and achievement.

What is my story and qualifications to coach?

Welcome to my professional platform, where a commitment to research and writing intersects with a dedication to inspiring others. My journey began an Awarded Young Author in third grade and evolved into recognition as McNair Scholar, culminating in my pursuit of a degree. With a Master of Arts in Counseling and extensive experience across various clinical and educational roles, have developed a distinctive coaching approach designed to empower individuals in their pursuit of excellence.
